Jones Bootmaker
Brand Campaign

Challenge
Established in 1857, Jones Bootmaker is a pioneering, family footwear brand steeped in history and renowned for its craftsmanship and style. However, now under new ownership, Jones approached us to reignite the brand with new art direction and a through-the-line campaign that would relaunch the brand and bring a new audience to its classic footwear.

Approach
Our art direction solution featured a contemporary take on the stunningly enigmatic still life images of another fashion pioneer, the celebrated photographer Richard Rutledge - a prolific contributor to American Vogue, Glamour and Conde Nast magazines throughout the 1950s. Our homage images were overlayed with subtle, quirky copy lines which established a new tone and attitude for the brand.

Results
A parade of head-turning images that showcase the brand’s exquisite footwear collections in slightly quirky and other worldly situations. The campaigns rolled out across, instore, magazine advertising, online, all social media channels and an outdoor campaign across London Tube stations around their key London stores.
